Horizons at Westminster is made possible through the generous support of numerous Westminster alumni and parents, other individuals, foundations, and institutions. Their generosity enables Horizons at Westminster to open new doors of opportunity for many young people in Hartford. Horizons at Westminster is part of a national network of summer school programs. The objective of the program is to build a “bridge” from one academic year to the next, a time when students can lose the connection to the regular practice of reading and math. This relationship with books and numbers forms an essential life-long connection with school and learning. Horizons at Westminster programs help to cement that connection.
