Their generosity enables Horizons at Westminster to open new doors of opportunity for many young people in Hartford. Horizons at Westminster is part of a national network of summer school programs. The objective of the program is to build a “bridge” from one academic year to the next, a time when students can lose the connection to the regular practice of reading and math. This relationship with books and numbers forms an essential life-long connection with school and learning.
