Patrick Owens
Executive Director, Horizons at Westminster

Georgetown University - B.A.
University of Pennsylvania - M.S.Ed.

After growing up in and around the Hartford area, Patrick attended Georgetown University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and psychology. While serving as a teaching assistant in the math department, he developed a passion for education and, upon graduating, secured a position as a teaching fellow through the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. Following his fellowship, Patrick spent nine years working as a math teacher, basketball and tennis coach, and dorm head at Milton Academy. 
​

Prior to joining Horizons at Westminster, Patrick spent ten years as the co-director of the SPHERE Summer program, an academic enrichment program for Hartford students. In addition to overseeing Horizons at Westminster, he teaches math, coaches basketball, and serves as a corridor supervisor in Squibb House.

Kelly Wosleger
Program Director, Horizons at Westminster

Fairfield University - B.A.
Fairfield University - MBA
 
After earning a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA at Fairfield University, Kelly coached Division I collegiate soccer. Most recently, she served two years as an assistant coach for Princeton University’s women’s soccer, where she was responsible for recruiting, managing summer camps and program operations. For three years prior to that, she was an assistant coach for Fairfield University women’s soccer.

Before beginning her coaching career, Kelly was a four-year starting goalkeeper and two-time captain at Fairfield University, where she holds the program records in shutouts, saves and goals against average. She was a 2023 inductee into the Fairfield Athletics Hall of Fame. Before Fairfield, she attended Farmington High School, where she lettered in soccer and basketball. Kelly has also coached for the Olympic Development Programs in New Jersey and Connecticut, and currently coaches for Connecticut Football Club. She holds a USSF D License and an NSCAA National Diploma.


At Westminster, Kelly serves as a Form Dean, Varsity Girls’ Soccer coach (2021 CT Prep School Coach of the Year, 2023 New England Soccer Journal Coach of the Year,
2023 New England Class A Champions), and program director of Horizons at Westminster. She lives in Kelter House, where she is dorm head, with her husband Tyler, their daughter Remi, and their two labs, Yogi and Tug. Tyler serves as associate director of communications in the Marketing and Communications Office at Westminster. Kelly’s interests include reading, hiking and working out.

Director of Development & Community Relations, Horizons at Westminster

College of the Holy Cross - B.A.
Central Connecticut State University - M.S.

Katie has a deep commitment to Hartford and is thrilled to join the Horizons at Westminster community. After graduating from Holy Cross, she worked as an AmeriCorps teacher for Covenant Preparatory School, a tuition-free middle school for boys from underserved communities in Hartford. She also served as the Director of Admissions, High School Placement, and Graduate Support where she was fortunate enough to be introduced to the Westminster community. After Covenant Prep, Katie served as the Assistant Dean of Students and Residential Life at Marianapolis Preparatory School, where she also coached Girls Varsity Lacrosse and served as the head of the senior boys’ residence hall. She later returned to Covenant Prep as the Director of Development and Community Relations, where she was able to work closely with the Horizons at Westminster team. 

Katie lives in Collinsville with her husband Wyeth and her dog Jersey.
